LATHAM – Patricia A. Rupert Belaska, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 20, 2006. She was born in Hawthorne, NY and was a resident of Latham. She also resided in Hamilton Square, NJ, Cohoes, NY and Munich, Germany. Mrs. Belaska was a graduate of Cohoes High School and attended Hofstraw University. She was employed by the NYS Dept. of Taxation & Finance, American Fore Insurance Company and International Harvester. Patricia belonged to various organizations, including the Maplewood Volunteer Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary, Sierra Club National Wildlife Federation (Adirondack Chapter), International Amnesty Earth Justice, and the Republican Committee. She was well-liked for her work and always had a smile for everyone. She will be missed by all, especially her loving family. Patricia was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph E. Belaska in 2002. She is survived by her devoted daughters, Karen Dinneen of Saco, ME and Tricia Belaska of Latham. She is the cherished grandmother of Lee Ann Belaska and Cheryl Fallis; great-grandmother of Gavin and Adryane Fallis. Also surviving is her brother, Ronald Rupert of Millbrook, NY and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services will be Monday morning at 10:30 at St. John's Episcopal Church, Cohoes. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Interment will be in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Maplewood Volunteer Fire Dept., 61 Cohoes Road, Watervliet, NY 12189 in memory of Patricia A. Belaska.
