Patricia "Patti" Bollock, age 74, passed away peacefully at Baptist Heath & Nursing on June 3, 2022. Born June 24, 1947, in Schenectady NY, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Mary Mazzucho Bollock.
Patti attended Scotia-Glenville High School, and then went on to work in various positions for New York State, later retiring from the Office of State Comptroller, Time & Attendance.
She is survived by her beloved Domestic Partner Liz Shutter of 34 years. Also, her brother Michael (Barbara) Bollock and several great nieces and nephews, and two great-great nieces and nephews; she is also survived by Joey Shutter, who was like a son to her. Most especially Liz would like to thank Kimmy (Lou) Bollock Wittine, for her commitment, support and her unconditional love for her Aunt Pat.
Patti is predeceased by her brother William Bollock and her infant sister who left this world too soon. Also, their beloved Shania.
Patti was known to fill a room with laughter with her dry sense of humor. She loved to dance, loved listening to music, and playing various instruments including guitar, drums, banjo, and harmonica. She had a great love of animals and will especially be missed by baby Shilo. Patti would do anything for anybody – and she had a big heart. She never said a cross word about anyone. Her presence in the "Three Musketeers" will be missed, and the laughter and camping adventures with Phil and Liz.
Liz would like to thank all of the special nurses and aids that gave all their love, care, and commitment to Patti at her time at Baptist Nursing.
Friends and Family are invited to attend Calling Hours Wednesday June 8 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals located at 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie NY, with a time for sharing at 7pm. Casual attire is requested by the family. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at All Saints Church,16 Homestead St., Albany NY 12203. Folks are invited to meet at the funeral home to process to the church. Please arrive to the New Comer parking lot at 8:15am., and we will depart promptly at 8:30am. Interment will follow at St. Cyril Cemetery, 611 Duanesburg Rd., Rotterdam NY 12306.
