Patricia J. Brower

April 24, 1932 — December 11, 2020

Latham- Patricia J. Brower, 88, passed away peacefully Friday, December 11, 2020, due to complications from Covid 19. Patricia was born in Troy, New York to the late William A. Mambert and Anna M. Cox Mambert. Patricia was predeceased by her brothers William Mambert and Lawrence Mambert.

Patricia is survived by her husband, James R. Brower, her son Jeffrey M. Brower, her sister Ann Jordan, her lifelong friend Theone Bob, and many cousins, nieces, nephews and longtime friends, all of whom she cherished.

Pat and Jim Brower were happily married for 67 years. Pat was the most beautiful and devoted wife any man could ask for.

Patricia was a graduate of Troy High School. As a young woman she worked for many years at John L. Thompson Wholesale Druggist in Troy, New York, and also worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Anthony Morra in Latham, New York.

Patricia was proud of her primary career as a housewife and she excelled at her job. Her home was always beautifully decorated and immaculately clean.
Pat was a creative woman who enjoyed craft projects such as sand candles, which she gifted to friends and family. She was also an amateur sculptor whose favorite subject matter was her husband. She served as a Cub Scout den mother and she was an excellent hostess on holidays and special occasions. She was an avid reader of romances and historical novels, she enjoyed tending her gardens and yard, and she loved the four toy poodles she had over the years.

"Jeannie", as her family called her, was a true Mambert. She faced her end with kindness to those who cared for her, humor, and a profound bravery that would have made her brothers Billy and Larry proud of her.

Patricia lived for her husband, her son, her extended family and her dear friends. She loved us all very much.
