Patricia Cranker

COLONIE – Patricia A. Cranker went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 4, 2006 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital. She grew up in Schenectady and later moved to the Altamont area with her husband, Andrew A. Cranker, Sr. She held different housekeeping jobs in the area, later retiring to Colonie. Pat enjoyed doing arts and crafts and was an avid bowler. She loved taking bus trips and talking with her friends. She liked to watch movies, collect unicorns and especially enjoyed her cats. Patricia leaves behind her best friend and daughter, JoAnn Moshier and her husband, Al and her son, Andrew Cranker and his wife, Kathy. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Tommy, Sara and Amy Hudson and Andrew and James Cranker. Pat is loved and will be dearly missed by her family, friends and her faithful feline companion, "Squeakers."
Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 10:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory's Garden, Colonie. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75244 or Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Patricia A. Cranker.
