SCHENECTADY – Patricia Anne Heath, passed away on Tuesday, May 01, 2007. She was born on June 30, 1945 in Birmingham, AL to the late Elijah and Emma Browder, with whom she lived until high school. Pat moved to Groton, CT where she attended Fitch Senior High School, graduating in 1963. She attended Plus School of Business in Hartford, CT and graduated in 1964. Pat married her high school sweetheart, Willie J. Heath, Jr. in 1964. They were married for 43 years. In 1970, Pat and Willie moved their family to Schenectady where Pat was employed at Campbell Plastics for 15 years until she became disabled. Pat was a football Mom for Rotterdam Pop Warner and a hostess for special events for Adirondack Beverages. She enjoyed crafts, traveling and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. Pat was devoted to her faith and a member of the relief society in the Church of Latter Day Saints. Pat is the wife of Willie J. Heath, Jr. She is the mother of Willie J. Heath, III of Santa Rosa, CA and Kevin (Kathy) Heath of Schenectady. She is the sister of Carolyn Cammack of Birmingham, AL, Lena (Aaron) Jolly of Detroit, MI, Gwen (Rueben) Bell of Birmingham, AL, Doris (Reginald) Nettles of Schenectady, Barbara (Daryl) Abraham of Schenectady, Larry (Christine) Norton of Fresno, CA, Elijah (Brenda) Browder, Jr. of Fairfield, AL and Ronald Browder of Latham. She is the grandmother of Amber, Jeffrey and Haley Heath, all of Schenectady. Two aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins also survive. In addition to her parents, Pat was predeceased by her sister, Madeline Brown. The family wished to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Riverview Cancer Care Associates and Community Hospice of Schenectady for the care and support they gave to Pat and her family during her illness.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 o'clock at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Rexford. Calling hours will be Monday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt.155-south of Central Ave). Interment will be in Memory's Garden, Colonie.
