Patricia Ann Jesmain

COHOES – Patricia Ann Jesmain, 81, of Cohoes, passed away Tuesday morning, August 13, 2024. She is now joined in eternity with her husband, Anthony J. Jesmain, Sr. who passed away this past Saturday on August 10, 2024.

Patricia was born in Albany on January 30, 1943 a daughter of the late George Gorman and Dorothy Stark. She was a stepdaughter to Donald Grugan, Sr.

She was retired from the State of New York State Tax and Finance.

Patricia was a hardworking and loving wife, mother and Nana who was highly skilled at sewing and crocheting, creating a wedding gown from scratch for her daughter in law, Jayne; to beautiful table cloths, now treasured heirlooms. She enjoyed cooking and loved Christmas. Her deepest desire for her family to enjoy the holidays earned her the nickname, “Santa Nana”.

Besides her husband, Tony, Patricia was predeceased by their loving pets over the years, Kandi-bell, Persia, Rusty and Thunder.

Patricia is survived by her children, Anthony Jr. (Jayne), John (Brenda) and Kevin (Laurie); her grandchildren, Kevin, Tony III, Marielle and Nicole. She is also survived by her loving aunt, Carol Arnold; her sisters, Linda Fleury and Karen Grugan; her brothers, James Gorman and Donald Grugan, Jr. and her four-legged baby, Kiwi.

Patricia’s family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to Laurie Jesmain, Betsy Whitney, Victor Medina and Susan Whitney for the loving and devoted care they have given to Tony and to Patricia as well as the hospice team, especially Gayle, Michelle and Steve.

Patricia will accompany her husband, Tony for the visitation which will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 10:00am to 12:00pm with a service immediately following at 12:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet.
