Patricia L. Marschall

Mrs. Patricia L. Marschall, 84, of Guilderland,
NY, formerly from Peekskill, NY and Modena, NY went home on
July 25th, 2015 after a short illness.
Born in Peekskill, NY, she was the daughter of the late Howard
J. and Louise E. (Burchetta) Tompkins and sister to the late
Ralph Tompkins Sr. Pat was a devoted wife to the late Harry C.
Marschall and beloved mother to Joyce Nidle and Steven
Marschall, and her "inlove"
children, David Nidle and Grace
Marschall and survived by grandchildren Joshua and Charles
Nidle, and Keith, Kevin, and Kara Marschall. She was "Sis" to a
surviving niece, Linda Husted; and nephews, Bud, Ralph, Jr.,
and Robert Tompkins; and several great nieces & nephews, and
many friends in the Modena, NY area.
A lifelong resident of Peekskill, NY graduating Peekskill High
School in 1949, Pat married Harry in 1953 and they settled
there to raise their family until 1991 when they moved to
Modena to enjoy retirement. Pat moved to the Albany area in
December 2013 to be closer to her children and their families.
Her greatest love, other than Harry, was her children and
grandchildren. Her life was centered around her family.
The family would like to acknowledge Cathy and Sue of VNS of
Northeastern New York Care Choices Pallative Care Program.
The family appreciates the compassion shown to both Pat and
her family.
Arrangements have been made by New Comer Funeral Home,
343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY. Visiting hours and service
will be on Wednesday July 29th, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home 343 New Karner Rd. Albany, NY 12205 from 9:00am-11:00am with a service starting at 11:00am. An interment service will follow at
the family plot in Ballad Barrett cemetery in Mahopac, NY. In
lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to:
