Patricia M. Mattice, 84, passed away Monday July 20, 2009 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center.
Patricia was born in Cohoes, NY the daughter of the late Frederick and Helen (Keefe) MacGregor and was a lifelong area resident. She was happily married to her husband of fifty years, Edward Mattice whom died thirteen years ago. She was a communicant of Christ The King Church who loved baking and romance novels but above all she was a devoted mother to her son Mark.
She is survived by her sons: Michael, Brian (Joyce), Paul (Karen) and Mark Mattice, grandchildren: Brian Jr., Matt, Sam, Jacob and Hayley, many nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends. Patricia was predeceased by her brothers: Jack, Robert, Peter and Donald and sisters: Ann, Helen and Bernadine.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center for the kind and gentle care given to our mother.
Funeral services will be Friday 9:30am from New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie then to Christ The King Church, 20 Sumpter Ave., Guilderland, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am. Calling hours are Thursday 4:00 to 7:00pm at the funeral home. The parish family of Christ the King will gather at 4:30 PM on Thursday at the funeral home for a service of prayer and remembrance.
