Patricia A. Mcbride

Albany- Patricia A. McBride, 75, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on May 12, 2017 at her home. Born on September 5, 1941 in Albany, NY, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine (Quinn) Appio. She married Lawrence E. McBride who predeceased her after 49 wonderful years of marriage.
Pat graduated from Cardinal McCloskey HS, she went on to work for the NYS Education Dept. until her retirement. After that, she worked as a receptionist for Our Lady of Mercy Life Center in Guilderland.
Pat was an endless mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She opened her home and her heart to countless relatives, friends and foster children. We will be forever grateful for the love and care that our Mom showed us.
Pat is survived by her children: David McBride and Kathleen McBride; her granddaughter who she raised as her daughter, Angelina McBride and her granddaughter, Erika McBride; her sisters: Jane Warren, Theresa Watrous (Appio), Deborah Blaauboer, Diane Trombley and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Pat was predeceased by her sister Catherine Appio.
Memorial visitation will be from 4 pm to 7 pm on Tuesday, May 16 at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Inurnment will be at a future date.
