Patricia E. Nicholson

Colonie- Patricia E. Nicholson, 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 8, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Jane Marvell. She was predeceased by her loving husband Thomas J. Nicholson Jr.
Patricia attended and graduated from high school in Albany, NY. Following high school Patricia went on to work at the Albany VA and later on in life went on to work at Albany Medical Center. Patricia was a devoted wife of 56 years and mother of six children. She was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening and loved traveling.
Patricia is survived by her children; Thomas J. Nicholson III, Tricia A. Nicholson, Steven Nicholson (Linda), Christopher Nicholson, William Nicholson (Lori) and David Nicholson (Aline), her thirteen grandchildren: Scott, Krista, Maddie, TJ, Amber, Jourdyn, Joshua, Jonathan, Andrew, Noah, Benjamin, Abraham and Sarah. Patricia is also survived by her brothers, Albert and Michael as well as many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2017, from 2:00pm-5:00pm at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, March 13,2017 at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 2777 Albany Street, Schenectady, New York 12304 at 9:00am.Interment will follow the Mass at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
