Patricia P. Fanuele

GUILDERLAND-Patricia P. Fanuele, 75, passed away on February 22, 2015. She was born in Albany, NY the daughter of the late Amos E. and Janet P. (McNamara) Hill. Patricia graduated from Albany High School in 1956 and Albany Medical Center School of Nursing in 1959, where she earned her RN degree. She had worked at Albany Medical Center for over 40 years, mainly in the Operating Room and the Department of Oncology. The later part of her career was at Upstate Hematology and Oncology in Schenectady. She was an avid bridge player, animal lover and sports fan. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, who loved spending time with her family. Patricia received great pleasure from attending her grandchildren's sporting events and other activities.
Patricia is survived by her loving children Diane (Lou) Fanuele, Jeffrey Fanuele, Gregory Fanuele and Mark (Michele) Fanuele and by her cherished grandchildren Ryan and Kayla Fanuele. She is also survived by her former husband Frank Fanuele, her brother Richard (Jacqueline) Hill, and by her nephew Christopher Hill and niece Michelle King.
A calling hour will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Friday, February 27, 2015 at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie.
A committal service will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Watervliet Shaker Rd., Colonie immediately following the calling hour.
