Patricia A. Pianowski (Esopi),74
Patricia A. Pianowski "Patt" of Albany, passed away on Friday, March 18th 2022 at St. Peter's Hospital.
Born on January 8th 1948, Patt was the only daughter of the late Raymond Esopi, and Mary Esopi (Robinson). She grew up in the City of Rensselaer, and Graduated from Van Rensselaer School in 1966. Patricia, or to many colleagues known as "Patt" went on to work for New York State Department of Labor and eventually for the NYS Division of Parole, where she completed a career of 37 years.
During her career she moved to Guilderland NY and started her family. Her two boys Todd Michael, and Kyle Richard were her pride and joy, as well as her several cats. While sometimes working two jobs to support them, she still found time to do the things she loved like bowling in various leagues while helping run the Junior Bowling Program at Westlawn Lanes, and taking care of her cats. She was also a fantastic cook of Italian cuisines.
Patricia is survived by her "daughter" Lauren Mahar (Gregory), her "grandaughters" Danielle and Gabrielle Mahar, and her cats Sasha, Lilly and Pierce. Near the end of her time, she endured a lot heartbreak, as she was predeceased by her sons Todd Michael Pianowski (2005), and Kyle Richard Pianowski (2016). She was also predeceased by her parents Raymond Esopi and Mary Esopi (Robinson). Patricia maintained a very strong relationship with her son's large group of friends who she called "The Boys".
Calling hours for friends and family will be Sunday, March 27th from 1:00-3:00 at New Comer Funeral Home at 343 New Karen's Rd Colonie, followed by a service immediately after calling hours.
Donations in Patricia's name can be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane society.
