Patricia H. Pomakoy

SELKIRK - Patricia H. Pomakoy, 83, wife of the late Joseph T. Pomakoy of Selkirk, passed away Friday, February 28, 2025 at Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home. 

Born November 12, 1941 in Albany, NY, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Mary A. Foley (Burgess). Patricia was a graduate of Cardinal McCloskey Memorial High School. 

She worked for over 25 years at the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center as manager of the VA Canteen Store. Known to her friends as Patty, she enjoyed Friday afternoon happy hours with her family and spending time with her grandchildren. 

Patricia is survived by her daughter Erin (Peter) Losee of Clifton Park; her grandchildren, Arcangelo Losee and Joseph Losee; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Joseph, she is predeceased by her brother Edward (Judy) Foley and Michael Foley. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00am on Friday, March 7 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 35 Adams Pl, Delmar, NY 12054. Interment will follow at Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery.
