Patricia C. Rapp
September 13, 1960 — March 12, 2022
Patricia (Pudge) Rapp, 61, born in Schenectady passed away March 12, 2022 after a courageous uphill battle with cancer. She passed away with a fight as she crossed to the other side.
In her younger years, Pudge was active in track and field and she often laughed about being a Brownie (Girl Scouts).
Not only was she known to be the life of the party, but she also liked outdoor activities, and socializing with family and friends. Her favorite pastime was working on a variety of crafts and she loved her dogs.
Pat (Pudge) is survived by her better half of 26 years, Douglas Schutz, children Christina Rapp, Maria Rapp and Tyler Schutz, as well as her brother Terry (Janet) VanBuren and Sister Laurie Lavoy, as well as 3 grandchildren and her beloved fur baby Mr. Magoo.
Pat will truly be missed by family and friends and will be one with her family in heaven.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 from 4:00PM – 7:00PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie NY 12205.
