SLINGERLANDS - Patricia A. Sammons, 76, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2016 at Albany Medical Center. Born in Albany on March 2, 1940 and was the daughter of the late William J. and Queenie (Geigg) Sammons.
She attended Warren Washington Albany ARC day program (formerly New Visions). She loved shopping, plants, and cats. She will be remembered for her imagination and high spirit and will be greatly missed by her house mates.
She is survived by her siblings, Marilyn Madeline, Eileen Sammons, Joann Sammons, and William R. Sammons and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service 11 am Tuesday at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, with a calling hour prior from 10 to 11 am. Interment, Albany Rural Cemetery in Menands.
