Colonie- Patricia Rae (Resseguie) Sullivan passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022 at her home after a tough year.
Born on March 7, 1930 to the late Bertha and Clarence Resseguie. She loved growing up in Northville on Sacandaga Lake living in a small town surrounded by loving parents, her great grandmother Robertina, who lived with them, cousins and friends. They loved going to the beach all summer.
If you didn't know her, we wish you could have. She was the epitome of kindness, honesty with a great sense of humor. Pat went to college in Albany, then met and married the love of her life, Bob Sullivan who she shared her life with until he passed away in 2004. Pat and Bob were both only children and then they had 6. We were always amazed at how they handled the chaos of all us all. Pat's most important goal was to be a mother, something that was certainly proven to be her strength in life. She was always kind, understanding, supportive and living to her children, grandchildren and friends. She was the best mother any child could have asked for.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Sullivan; son, David Sullivan; granddaughters, Kristy Furbeck and Kathleen Sullivan and her beloved dog Sadie who passed 2 months prior to await her in heaven.
She is survived by her children, Deborah Sullivan (Bill Collins), Mark Sullivan (Dana), Terrie Furbeck (Bill), Tim Sullivan, Scott Sullivan (Rose); grandchildren, Courtney Furbeck, Melissa Kovatchitch, John Sullivan, Martin Quinn, Mark Sullivan, Timmy Sullivan and great granddaughter, Elena Kovatchitch.
Special thanks to Community Hospice for their care during the last 3 weeks with us. We are so appreciative for Laura, Maggie, Cylon and Kristen for your guidance and kindness to our mother.
Memorial contributions may be made to Schenectady Animal Foundation, 53 Maple Ave, Schenectady, NY 12302, where she adopted her sweet cat Rosie or The Community Hospice Foundation, 310 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022 from 5-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 11am at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Northville, NY.
