ALBANY- Patricia M. Taber, 71, passed away on June 8, 2017 peacefully with her family by her side.
Pat was born on April 19, 1946, daughter of the late Vincent and Christine Dunn in Albany.
Pat worked for NYS Comptrollers Office where she retired after 30 years of service. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was an avid reader, an excellent cook and loved the ocean. She will be remembered for her kind heart, acceptance of others, and love for her family. Pat will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Pat is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Richard "Butch" Taber, Sr.; children, John "Jay" (Sharon) Taber, Linda (Ron) Gicewicz, Christine Taber, Patricia (Robert) Taber, Richard (Heather) Taber, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Lillian (Tony) Relyea and Loretta Dunn; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Pat was predeceased by her brother, Vincent Dunn, Jr.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 from 4-7pm at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205. A funeral service to celebrate Pat's life will begin at 7pm at the funeral home, following visitation.
