Patricia Unser

COLONIE – Patricia C. Myers Unser, 77, of Colonie, passed away peacefully into her Lord's arms on Wednesday January 18, 2006. Pat was born in Albany and graduated from St. Ann's Academy. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Florence Fay Myers.
Pat treasured "Tuesdays with Mary" and loved singing in the Resurrection Choir at the Church of St. Clare. The family wishes to thank the staff of Hospice at St. Mary's Hospital for their care and support. Special thanks to Pat's visiting nurse, Jen for all of her kindness and compassion.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Frederick Unser; her sons, Mark (Mary) Unser of Averill Park, Eric (Christine) Unser of Mariaville, Tim (Bonnie) Unser of Ballston Spa, Patrick Unser of Hyannis MA; her daughter, Veronica (Raymond) Penk of McAllen, TX; her brother, John (Cathy) Myers of Wisconsin, and her sister, Loretta (Robert) Lassone of Florida. She is the cherished grandmother to 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 8:30 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave) then to St. Clare's Church at 9:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery, Glenmont. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Rensselaer County, 295 Valley View Blvd. Rensselaer, NY 12144 or to the charity of one's choice.
