ESPERANCE- Patrick D. Visker, 47, of Esperance, formerly of Guilderland, passed away peacefully on Thursday December 31, 2009 at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston surrounded by his loving family.
Pat was born in Albany and is the beloved son of Edward W. and Mary Clare Visker. He was a graduate of Guilderland High School and Siena College. Pat was a territory manager with GE Commercial Finance. Pat had tremendous passion for his loving family, the New York Yankees, Minnesota Vikings, the Grateful Dead and his many friends. He enjoyed participating in several fantasy sports leagues.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by the love of his life, Candie Boyt, son Jonathan Boyt and grandson Tyler Boyt. He is the cherished brother of Edward R. (Cynthia) Visker, Michael J. (Catherine) Visker, Kirsten (Mark) Wielt, Christopher T. (Kelly) Visker, Derek J. Visker and Kathleen (Eric) Rutledge. Pat is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, dear friends and his devoted canine companions, Jerry, Sadie and Molly.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 7 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 12 noon at Christ the King Church, Sumpter Ave. Guilderland. Interment will follow at Schenectady Memorial Park. At the request of the family, those who wish may make a memorial contribution to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Upstate NY/VT Chapter, 5 Computer Drive West -Suite 100, Albany, NY 12205.
