He then went to work for Modern Kitchens of Syracuse where he remained for 42 years until his retirement. He built the Albany division of MKS into a regional powerhouse selling nationally known, upscale kitchen products like Sub Zero, Wolf, and Woodmode custom cabinetry to regional builders and retail outlets throughout New York.

Pat was a lifelong Yankee fan and managed multiple championship Little League and Babe Ruth youth baseball teams that his sons played on, as well as several all-star teams.

Patrick was predeceased by the love of his life and wife of 57 years Barbara Leader DeAmelia, his parents, Patrick and Angeline, his sister Virginia (Joseph) Breslin, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
