ALBANY- Patrick C. Dortic, age 55, passed away surrounded by family on June 3, 2021.
He was born in Albany, the son of the late Charles and Maxine Dortic.
Patrick was a Deputy Commissioner with the NYS Department of State and also worked at Albany County.
He was Honorably Discharged as a Sergeant with the Army National Guard.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, restoring vintage cars and collecting antiques.
Patrick is survived by his daughters: Carla and Phoebe and their mother Adrian; his close friend, Joe Wood; siblings: Diane (Dave) Hansen, Beth (Matt) Panza, Cynthia Summa, Denise (Jerry) O'Neil, Kathleen (Steve) Cerminaro, Dolores (Chris) Merkel, Linda Pasqualino and Dan (Lisa) Dortic. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 3 to 5 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205.
