Albany- Patrick J. Dalton, 65, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Ellis Hospital surrounded by his family. Patrick was born in Waddington, NY and was the son of Albert and Eileen (Finnin) Dalton. Patrick was the loving husband of Linda (Mayer) Dalton for two days shy of 42 years. Patrick worked for 30 years for Wormuth Brothers Foundry as an accountant/ comptroller.

Patrick is survived by his children; Shawn (Melissa) of Rotterdam, Nicholas of Albany, Alicia (Dave) of Rensselaer and Justin of Albany. Patrick also leaves behind one grandchild Tyler. Patrick is also survived by his brothers Kevin (Sue) of Acton, Mass., Michael (Venessa) of Norfolk Virginia, David (Claire) of Peru, New York, Matthew of Plattsburgh, New York, Brian of Manchester, Vermont and Peter of Rochester, New York. Patrick is predeceased by his brother Christopher. Patrick will also be missed by his 9 nieces and nephews and 6 grand-nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be at Newcomer Cannon Funeral Home Wednesday September 17th 2014 from 4:00- 7:00PM. A mass celebrating Patrick's life will be Thursday September 18th at 10:00AM at Our Lady of the Americas Shrine 279 Central Ave. Interment will follow mass at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Food For The Poor 6401 Lyons Road, Coconut Creek, Florida 33073 or to the Muscular Dystrophy Association 1 Marcus Blvd. #203, Albany, NY 12205.
