Patrick L. Stewart

ALBANY – Patrick L. Stewart 70, of Delmar, passed away on Monday May 31, 2010 at St. Peter's Hospital.
He was born in Albany and was the son of the late Dennis and Euretta Lloyd Stewart. Pat graduated from Vincentian Institute and Providence College. He served in the US Navy and was employed by New York State Education Dept. After, retiring, Pat worked at St. Casimir's School in Albany. He was active member of the former St. Teresa of Avila Church.
Pat is survived by his former wife, Elizabeth Murray Stewart; his daughters, Sharon (John) Richards, and Maura Stewart; his sons, Timothy, David, James (Debbie), Mike and Paul Stewart; his grandchildren, Tyler, Isabella, Alexandra, Gabrielle, Liam, Nolan, Morgan, Noelle and Hannah; his sister, Winifred Stewart; his brothers, Frank and Dennis Stewart and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 8:30 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie then to Mater Christ Parish, Albany at 9:30 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Wednesday evening from 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery.
