ALBANY – Patrick Lanza, 84, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2006 at Van Rensselaer Manor Nursing Home.
Patrick was born on May 31, 1921 in Albany and was the son of the late Sergio and Stella Sasso Lanza. He served in the US Army during WWII. He owned and operated Lanza Brothers Painting in Albany for many years.
Patrick is survived by his longtime companion of 31 years, Arlene H. Krzykowski-Lanza; his children, John P. Lanza, Peter M. Lanza, Patrick S. Lanza, Sherri Anne Gauthier, and twins, Melanie J. Lanza and Michael J. Lanza; his brothers, Benjamin Lanza and John Lanza; 6 grandchildren and a great granddaughter. Nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law also survive. He was predeceased by his wife, Anna May Lanza, his sister, Anna Boungiorno and his twin brother, Charles Lanza.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment will follow at Memory's Garden. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
