LOUDONVILLE- Patrick Lawlor Sr., 92, of Loudonville, passed away on Monday April 16, 2007 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center. He was born in Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland and was the son of the late John and Margaret Delaney Lawlor.
Patrick had served in the Irish Army and worked for Ireland Post Office before coming to the United States in 1946. He was an engineer in the brewery industry in Albany for many years. He had also worked as engineer at OD Heck through New York State. Pat was a founding member of the Sons of Erin (Hibernians) in Albany and was a drummer with the Division 5 Irish Pipe & Drum Band. He was privileged to play at ceremonies honoring John F. Kennedy and Robert Kennedy.
Pat was predeceased in 1988 by his beloved wife Mary Theresa Foley Lawlor. He is the devoted father of Mary Seymour (late Bruce), Noreen Clemens, Patrick (Jean) Lawlor Jr., Sean Patrick Lawlor, Brendan (Cathy) Lawlor and the late Anne Evelyn Whinnery. He is the brother of Mary O'Callaghan, Kitty Culleton and the late John and Danny Lawlor and Noel Rohan. Special uncle of Maurice Savage. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday morning at 10:45 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave) then to St. Pius X Church at 11:30 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Pius X Church,
