Patrick Ninstant

Albany - Patrick Ninstant passed away suddenly at home. Patrick was predeceased by his parents Emie and Rene' Ninstant, and his two sisters, Geanette St. Rose and Marie Therese Morissett.

He is survived by his children, son, Anthony Gordon (Tashera Wall) and daughter, Antonlena (Jimmy) Mason, grandchildren, Ah, Jamier Gordon, Ah Savion Gordon, Alani Gordon, Nakeem Mason and Terell Mason. Siblings, Eddie Ninstant of Nyack, NY, Maryse (Wilner) Chardonet of Garnerville, NY, Mirza (Pierre) Ninstant-Sandaire of Rensselaer, NY, Marie Leger of Rotterdam, NY, Guy (Casharon) Ninstant of Castleton, NY, Serge (Sherry) Ninstant of Troy, NY and Kevin (Michelle) Ninstant of Troy, NY. Also, surviving by an abundance of his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He loved nature and the outdoors, including fishing, cycling, and swimming, or anything else one can do outside. He also, had a love for animals. He was a man whose strength and resilience left an indelible mark on all who knew him. He was a pillar of toughness, teaching invaluable lessons through his actions and words. Even when times were not so great, he always showed up for children, especially when he was needed the most. He showed the importance of hard work, integrity, and never giving up, no matter the obstacles life threw his way.

As a grandfather, he was unparalleled. He always took the time for his grandchildren, sharing stories, taking them fishing, biking and sight-seeing. He gave his undivided attention. His presence in their lives was a constant source of love and discipline.

We will forever be grateful to have had you in our lives, Your spirit will always live in our hearts. Thank you for never giving up on us.
