Glenville – Patrick J. Villani, 71, passed away on Friday April 25, 2014 at the Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany after a long illness. Born in Albany, he is the son of the late John and Phyliss Villani.
Patrick proudly served his country during the Viet Nam War in the United States Navy aboard the U.S.S. Independence. He was a long time member of the Robert L. Weininger VFW Post #8692 and the Capital District Cruisers. Patrick was also a founding member of "THE ORIGINAL" Albany Rods & Kustoms (ARK).
In addition to his parents, Patrick was predeceased by his beloved wife Faith M. Villani in 2009.
Patrick is survived by his children, Anthony J. (Kim) Villani and Christina (Patrick) McAuliffe; his grandson, Zachary McAuliffe; and his brother, John "Jack" Villani Jr.
Funeral services for Patrick will be held on Friday May 2nd at 10:30 a.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Thursday May 1st from 4 – 7 p.m. Interment will be at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
