GUILDERLAND - Paul Bini, 35, passed away at his home on Sunday, September 10, 2006, surrounded by his family after a courageous and determined battle with cancer. Born on June 24, 1971 in Albany, he was a graduate of Guilderland High School and Hudson Valley Community College.
Paul was the beloved son of Genia Rosenfeld-Bini and John (Marie) Bini. He is survived by his brothers Steven (Beth) Bini, Eric (Jennifer) Bini and Lucas Bini. Paul was recently engaged to Kristen R. Baldwin and was the cherished uncle of Madison Lee and Emily Elizabeth Bini. He is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was the devoted grandson of the late Ester and David Rosenfeld and Gloria and Giovanni Bini.
Paul possessed a winning smile, a gentle nature and deep affection for his family and friends. He was a craftsman who took great pride in his carpentry and other creative works. Along with his brother Steven, Paul was the owner of Upstate Solutions LLC. He had previously been employed at the Delmar Beverage Center. Paul had a zest for life that he maintained to the end. He rode his Harley-Davidson with great enthusiasm and was an avid NASCAR and Miami Dolphins fan.
Paul's family extends heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Lawrence Garbo and the entire staff at New York Oncology & Hematology for the kind and thoughtful care he received during his illness and to friends and neighbors who have demonstrated their love and concern through many acts of kindness.
Funeral services will be Friday morning at 11:00 at Newcomer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
