Paul O. Borger Jr.

Selkirk- Paul O. Borger Jr., 84, passed away at home on Friday, December 9, 2016 with his family by his side. Paul was born in Great Barrington, MA on June 13, 1932 to the late Paul and Elsie Borger.

Paul proudly served his country in the Navy from 1950 to 1954 in Air Transport in Squadron #3 as an Airman. He went on to work in construction most of his life as a superintendent. Paul loved gardening and flowers and had a passion for building. He loved his home and most of all, his family.

Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Norma (Martin) Borger. He is also survived by his children, William and David Borger; step-daughter, Tracy O'Connor; son-in-law, Joe O'Connor; grandchildren, Alyssa, Caitlin, Meghan, and Gabriel Borger; step-grandchildren, Matthew, Zachary, and Lindsey O'Connor; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held from 4pm-6pm on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at New Comer Funeral Home, Colonie. A funeral service will immediately follow at 6pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery at a later date.
