Paul F. Tomisman, Jr.

COLONIE, NY – Paul F. Tomisman, Jr., 59, passed away suddenly at his home on Monday, December 20, 2010. Born in Albany, he is the son of the late Paul F. Tomisman, Sr. and Virginia Tomisman. Paul was a Colonie resident for all of his life. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving his country during the Vietnam War. Paul was an animal lover especially his dogs. He was a wonderful family man and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Paul is the beloved husband of 36 years to Doreen Tomisman. He is the devoted father of Jennifer Tomisman and Kelly Tomisman, both of Colonie. He is the cherished grandfather of Kaitlyn and Michelle Mercer and Bailey Tomisman. Paul is the loving brother of Carol Perry, William (Patricia) Tomisman, Lori (Thomas) Millington, Aaron (Kerry) Butler, Michael Tomisman and Thomas (Donna) Tomisman. Also surviving is his stepmother, Shirley Hortsman of Scotia, as well as several nieces and one nephew.
Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
