SCHENECTADY – Paul G. LeBlanc, 86, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2009 at the Baptist Health Center in Scotia.
Paul was born on November 20, 1922 in Burlington, VT and was the son of the late Napoleon J. and Mamie M. (Blaise) LeBlanc. He worked in housekeeping at St. Clare's Hospital for several years before he retired; prior to that he worked at the Army Depot in Scotia and the Waterverliet Arsenal. He enjoyed drawing and collecting stamps.
Paul is survived by his sister, Doris F. (Harold) Snyder of Colonie and his brother, Harold J. (Colleen) LeBlanc of Schenectady. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters, Mildred M. Currier and Clara L. Busha and his brothers, Amos M., Roger, and Clarence G. LeBlanc.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). A calling hour will be held prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Colonie.
