Colonie- Paul A. Grabowski, Sr., 53, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2017 in Albany, NY. Born on July 3, 1964 in East Orange, NJ, Paul is the son of Carolyn (Lynn) Grabowski of Loudonville.
Paul is survived by his wife of 9 years, Joanne (Grzyboski) Grabowski; his son Paul (Angie Merritt) Grabowski, Jr.; his grandson, Paul the III; his step-children: Maria (Joseph) Poole, Louis (Sherry) DeGeorge, Michael (Jamie) DeGeorge and Jacqueline (Nick) DeGeorge; his siblings: Martha (Daniel) Grabowski Wheeler, Elizabeth (James) Badger, and Michael (Rick) Grabowski; he is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He will be remembered by his canine companion, Lucky.
Paul's family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital for their loving and compassionate care.
Visitation will be from 4 pm to 7 pm on Wednesday, December 20 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 am on Thursday, December 21 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 607 Central Ave., Albany. Burial will follow at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Paul's name to Community Hospice, Gift Processing Center, 310 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.
