Paul J. Mehling

GUILDERLAND – Paul J. Mehling, 53, of Guilderland, passed away peacefully on Friday January 30, 2009 at the Inn of Community Hospice, surrounded by his loving family.
Paul was born in Queens, NY and is the beloved son of Mary Mehling and the late Walter Mehling. He was graduate of SUNY @ Buffalo. Paul had worked for 22 years with the New York State Worker's Compensation Board as an associate examiner for the Administrative Review Division. He was very active in Boy Scouts with his son and served as Pack Master of Pack 83 and assistant Scout Master of Troop 83. He also enjoyed camping and fishing.
Paul is the beloved husband of Karen A. Keane. He is the devoted father of Connor and Sheila Mehling. He is the brother of Laura (Bill) Turner, Ellen Mehling and Carl (Fiona Brady) Mehling. Paul is the proud uncle of Brittany and Corinne Turner, Lauren, Jessica and AJ Keane and Tricia Santana.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 at Christ the King Church, Westmere. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 8 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd.
