Paul L. Lee

Paul Lee, 75, passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 22, 2012 at his home with his loving wife by his side.

Paul was born in Troy to the late William and Grace (Parsley) Lee. He graduated from Troy High School with honors and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves. Paul was employed for over 43 years as a draft engineer with the Gurley Precision Corp. in Troy.

Paul was an avid reader, and enjoyed traveling, fishing, and spending time with his beloved family. He was blessed with artistic talent and also was quite the Revolutionary and Civil War Historian.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, William and Thomas.

Paul is survived by his wife of 54 years, Theresa (Romanelli) Lee; his children, Sabrina McCabe, Paul Richard Lee, and John W. Lee (Marianne); his grandchildren, Meghan A. Lee and Caitlin A. Lee; his sister, Shirley Madsen Lee; and also several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Elizabeth Locke, Dr. Serfilippi and the rest of the Albany Pulmonary Group for all the care and compassion given to Paul.

Funeral services for Paul will be Monday, August 27th 2012 at 8:00 am at Newcomer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie, then to St. Mary's of the Assumption Church, Waterford where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 am. Calling hours will be held Sunday, August 26th from 3-6 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the mass at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Waterford.
