ALBANY – Paul Latimer passed away suddenly at his home, on Friday, September 3, 2010. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late William and Marion Latimer. Paul enjoyed swimming, going on cruises with his wife and teaching AARP driver safety classes. He was a long time friend of Bill W., just celebrating 34 years. Paul is the beloved husband of sixteen years to Pat Latimer. He is the devoted step-father of Pamela, Trish and Kimberly Mertz, Judy (Tod) Mulrooney, A.J. McGuire and Stacey (Joe) Andrade. He is the loving brother of Pat (Bill) King, Bill (Anita) Latimer, Barbara Erwin and the late Jim Latimer. Paul is the cherished Grandpa of Anthony, Melissa, Brandon, Nicholas, Melena and Max. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Paul's family requests that there be no flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 155 Washington Ave., Suite 210, Albany, NY 12210 in memory of Paul Latimer.
