Paul K. Lawyer, Sr.

Colonie- Paul K. Lawyer, Sr., 91, passed away on September 30, 2017 at Kingsway Arms Nursing Home in Schenectady.
The son of the late Jerome and Leona (Plough) Lawyer he was born on September 2, 1926, in Albany, NY.
Paul served his country honorably and faithfully in the US Army during World War II. He worked for Nabisco, Co., in Latham for over 38 years. He loved to travel all over in his RV. He enjoyed bowling, golf and playing cards. Paul was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.
Paul is survived by his children: Paul K. (Bernice) Lawyer, Jr. and Lee Ann Archibald; his grandchildren: Paul (Kim), Danny (Diane), and Tony (Christina) Lawyer and Peter and Kevin Archibald; great-grandchildren: Derek, Ashlee, and Maddie.
In addition to his parents, Paul was predeceased by several brothers and a sister.
We would like to give our deepest, heartfelt thank you to our son Danny and his wife Diane for the wonderful care they gave to my Mom and Dad for the seven years prior to entering Kingsway.
Visitation will be held from 4 pm to 7 pm on Wednesday, October 4 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Thursday, October 5 at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Colonie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Paul's name to American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22202.
