Paul Layton Reesor, Sr., 80, passed away peacefully on Monday May 10, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. Paul was born in Buffalo to the late Orville and Laura Reesor. After graduation Paul served for the United States Marine Corp then returned home and married his sweetheart, Irene. Paul loved hunting, bowling and was an avid fisherman. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by, his son Paul L. Reesor, Jr.; three brothers and two sisters.
Paul is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Irene Reesor; he is the beloved grandfather of Jason Reesor; cherished brother of June Simonsons and dear friend of Richard Keller. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Friday at 1:30 pm at Gerald B.H. Solomon National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
