Paul "Papa" W. Miller Sr.

COLONIE - Paul "Papa" W. Miller Sr., 79, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 21, 2023.
Paul was born on February 16, 1944 in Albany and was the son of the late Walter and Frances (Bosher) Miller. He graduated from Christian Brothers Academy in 1962 and received his associates degree from Hudson Valley Community College. He proudly served his country in the Marine Corps from 1965 to 1971, attaining the rank of Lance Corporal. He worked as a technician for Verizon before retiring in 1997.
Papa loved sailing, especially spending time on his boat in Green Harbor on Lake George. He enjoyed gardening, particularly proud of his prized tomatoes and was an avid Miami Dolphins fan, watching games on Sundays with his family and friends.
Paul is survived by his loving children, Paul (Diane) Miller and Kelly (Michael) Livingston; his cherished grandchildren, Kristine (Andrew) Cunningham, Mikey (Caroline) Livingston, Zach (Kristy) Miller and Alex Miller; and his adored great grandchildren, Paxton, Grant and Vance. He was predeceased by his wife, Linda (Galeo) Miller.
A private entombment will be held at St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands.
Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life at 3:00 pm Friday, August 25th, at The Polish American Citizen Club, 110 Commerce Ave., Albany.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Altamont Program/Home Delivered Meals, 575 Broadway, Menands, NY 12204 in memory of Paul W. Miller Sr.
