WESTERLO- Paul R. Kessler, 67, passed away peacefully on September 30th, 2014 at St. Peters Hospice.
Paul was born on November, 13 1946 to the late Paul and Marjorie Kessler. He graduated high school from Phillip Schuyler in 1964, where he was heavily involved in music. He played the drums in various bands in the tri city area.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy, of 48 years, his children; Paul K. (Beatriz) Kessler, Michael (Dedra) Kessler, Tina (Reed) Kessler-Thompson, his grandchildren; Courtney, Paul, Kyle, Alexis, and Sarah, and his sister, Diane (Don) Kessler- Fahd.
Paul worked as a fire fighter and paramedic at the Albany Fire Department, Engine 11. He retired in 1986 with over 30 years of service to his community. His pride and joy was his 1979 Corvette, which he received for his 60th birthday.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd, Albany, NY, on Sunday, October 5, 2014, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. A service will follow at 1:30 pm.
