Paula M. Swartz, 73, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at home with her loving family by her side.
Paula was the daughter of the late Samuel G. and Flora M. (Smith) Coe. Paula was the devoted wife to William H. Swartz Jr. They were married 51 years.
Paula enjoyed spending time with and caring for her family, especially her grandchildren. She was an avid gardener who also enjoyed camping, baking pies, and being with beloved pets.
Paula is survived by her husband, William H. Swartz Jr., her son, William H. (Jennifer) Swartz III, daughter, Kimberly (Thomas) Swartz Doyle, granddaughters; Julianna R. Swartz, Isabella C. Swartz and Ella F. Doyle. Paula is also survived by her sister Dolores Griffin. She was predeceased by her brother Samuel G. Coe. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, on Monday August 21, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held Tuesday August 22, 2017 at 10:00 am at New Comer Funerals & Cremations. Interment will follow the service at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Guilderland.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Community Hospice of Albany County, 445 New Karner Rd, Albany, NY 12205.
