COLONIE – Pearl Mary Schultz, 86, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2013 at St. Peter's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Pearl was born on June 23, 1927 in Albany and was the daughter of the late Lewis and Anna May (Clark) Ruppert. She enjoyed camping, baking, cooking, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed short stories and watching TV. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Colonie and the Fuller Road Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
Pearl is survived by her loving children, Pamela (the late Edward) Boucher, Russell (Cynthia Young) Schultz, Barbara Schultz, Debra (William) Spiegel, and Ronald Schultz; 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Russell F. Schultz; her sister and brother-in-law, Clarice and Kenneth Pleat and her grandson, Michael.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Colonie.
