COLONIE, NY – Pearl S. Craft, 85, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2010. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Violet Stangle. Mrs. Craft was a Colonie resident for all of her life. She worked for many years at the former New York Telephone Company from where she retired. Pearl was a member of the Latham Community Baptist Church and sang with their choir. She enjoyed doing crafts and square dancing with her husband. Pearl is the beloved wife of 63 years to John D. Craft. She is the devoted mother of Deborah Craft and Jacalyn Ortiz. She is the loving sister of Linda Harms and the late Anthony Stangle, Jr., William Stangle and Roger Stangle. She is the cherished grandmother of Daniel Velett and Cassandra Ortiz.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (RT. 155-south of Central Ave). A calling hour will precede the service from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Memory's Garden, Colonie.
