Peggy Ann (Dwyer) Kelly, 87,
Eddy Village Green, Cohoes, NY formerly a long time Menands resident – Peggy Ann (Dwyer) Kelly, 87, went to Heaven on November 30, 2023 after a battle with dementia.
Peggy was born on March 22, 1936, to the late John and Mary (Fitzgerald) Dwyer. She was the Menands School Secretary until her retirement in 2001. Mom loved to travel especially to Cape Cod, gardening, flea markets and garage sales. She loved family, her Irish heritage, genealogy and keeping our family story and history alive. Peggy was born and raised in North Albany before moving to Menands, NY in 1968.
She was predeceased in 2019 by the love of her life, her ex-husband Charles Kelly who she married in 1954; her son Paul J. Kelly (2015) and daughter, Nancy Kocher (2016); her brothers John Dwyer (Carolyn) and Gene Dwyer (Mary); her sister Mary O'Neill (Ambrose) and her two best friends since childhood Patricia Yanni and Margie Reidy. There were many afternoons when they got together for tea and were having such a good time after dinner switched to wine. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce (Steven) Feeley of Schodack, son Mark Kelly of Montana, daughter in law Deirdre Kelly of Virginia, grandchildren Elizabeth Feeley and her husband Dev Bissram, Matthew Feeley (Elanor Mo), Nicholas Feeley and Andrew Kelly. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Our Family would like to thank the dedicated staff in House 6 at the Eddy Village Green in Cohoes and Hospice for the wonderful care and love they gave to our mom while she lived there. They truly make a home for all the people they take care of and they are all devoted, kind and exceptional people.
