Perry M. Condon, Jr.

Perry Michael Condon, Jr., 68, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023.
Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Perry Michael Condon, Sr. and Elizabeth Ann (McDermott) Condon.
Perry attended programs daily at Copper City Community Connection, Rome, NY. There he enjoyed working with his hands, building bird houses and other projects. He was a Special Olympics Gold Medalist in Shotput and 100 Meter Dash, and Medaled in Floor Hockey. Perry loved spending time at his family camp at Piseco Lake, NY, where he enjoyed fishing, and hiking with his brother Dan and his father. He would look forward to swimming with family during the summer.
Perry is survived by his siblings, Kathleen Mahoney, Carolyn Condon and Timothy (April) Condon, and Elizabeth Condon; his niece, Katherine Condon; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Perry was predeceased by his brother, Daniel E. Condon.
Visitation will take place on Friday, December 22, 2023 from 11:30am- 12:30pm in St. Pius X Church, 23 Crumite Rd., Loudonville, NY 12211. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12:30pm. Interment will be private, where Perry will join his father at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities, Rome, NY, for decades of assistance and care.
