Peter D. Lynch

GUILDERLAND- Peter D. Lynch, 46 passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 10, 2014. He was born on August 3, 1967 in Suffolk County, NY, the son of Joseph T. Lynch and the late Linda Anne (Pasemann) Lynch. Peter was a graduate of Guilderland High School. For the past 23 years, he was a Corrections Officer with Albany County Sheriff's Department. Peter was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, and photography. He was a quiet person with tremendous integrity and a caring, loving heart.
Peter is survived by his father Joseph T. Lynch of Newport, North Carolina; brother Benjamin Lynch and his wife Andrea and son Joseph of Bellevue, Washington. He is also survived by his aunts Alice DeLuca and her husband John, Mary Ann Curry and her husband Jim, Katherine Hughes and her husband Steve and Noeleen Lynch.
In addition to his mother Linda, Peter was predeceased by his brother Joseph and by his uncle Richard Lynch.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 PM on Friday, May 16, 2014 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at St. Madeleine Sophie Roman Catholic Church, 3500 Carman Rd. Schenectady.
Interment will be at Memory Gardens, Colonie.
