Peter J. Derusso, Jr.

Peter DeRusso Jr., 58, passed away on Tuesday, May 21st, 2024. Peter was the beloved son of Peter DeRusso Sr. and Blanche (Falco) DeRusso.

Peter was a Core Services Field Rewind Specialist at GE Power & Water in Schenectady for over 10 years. He was extremely hardworking and enjoyed keeping busy. Peter loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. His heart grew so much softer once they came into this world and he took great joy in being a grandfather. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing, camping, handywork, Stewart's coffee, and chocolate. He was known as "Doozy Pots" by his friends as he always lived life to the fullest.

In addition to his parents, Peter is survived by his children, Tanya (Cody) McCann and Alex DeRusso; grandchildren, Olivia and Connor McCann; and his sister Charlene (Thomas) Clickner. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Peter will live on in the hearts and minds of the loving family he has left behind. Forever loved, never forgotten.
