NISKAYUNA-Peter V. DiCarlo, of Niskayuna, passed away on Saturday October 7, 2006 at the Eddy Ford Nursing Home in Cohoes where he has been a resident for the past nine years. He died after a long illness with Parkinson's Disease.
Peter was born and educated in Schenectady and was the son of the late Joseph and Carmella DiCarlo. He had worked for the turbine division of General Electric Company for many years. Peter was a professional photographer and took pride in creating the perfect wedding pictures. He enjoyed attending local wrestling events.
He is survived by his loving wife Patricia J. Di Carlo; his cherished children Michael (wife Lisa) DiCarlo and Kimberly Tiffault; his three adored grandchildren, Marina, Peter and Ernest Tiffault.
Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 8:15 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home 343 New Karner Rd Colonie (Rt.155-south of Central Ave) then to St. Luke's Church at 9:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Newcomerfamily.com
