Peter W. Manning

Schenectady- Peter William Manning, 77, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 17, 2021 with his loving family by his side. He was the son of the late Peter and Shirley Manning. Pete was the devoted husband to the late Pat Manning. They were married 20 years.

Pete had a fond love for his cat Jazmin. He enjoyed spending time with his entire family and loved cooking for them. Pete loved classic cars, listening to music, and watching television. He enjoyed going to "Coffee time" with his brother Jack and sisters Joan and Kathy. Pete always looked forward to spending time with his granddaughter Savannah. He enjoyed meals and going to summer cookouts at Mike and Monica's and sneaking food to the dogs.

Pete is survived by his son, Mike (Monica) Manning; granddaughter, Savannah Manning; brother, Jack Manning; sisters, Joan (the late Len) Gaylord and Kathy (the late Larry) Simpson; his beloved cat, Jazmin; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, New York on Monday July 26, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a funeral service to immediately follow at 7pm. Inurnment will be held on Thursday July 29, 2021 at 11:30 am at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Peter's name to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY 12204.
