Our beloved, Philip Scott Fitzpatrick, 52, climbed his tallest tree ever on September 22nd, on his ascent to heaven. He was the most lovable, kindest Father, Son, Brother, Uncle and friend. He made everyone laugh, with his endless stories and was always the life of every party! It was never a dull moment with Phil, but we will very much miss all his crazy antics, that kept us in tears.
Philip grew up in Burnt Hills, NY and attended Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved fishing, hunting, camping, boating and snowmobiling. Phil started his tree-climbing career with Frank & Matt at Mohawk Landscaping before going out on his own with Monkey Business Tree Service. He could climb a tree like no other and enjoyed it every time. He most recently lived in Saratoga Springs, where he loved riding his bike to everything.
Philip is survived by two incredible daughters, Sydney Fitzpatrick (Josh Coreno) and Morgan Fitzpatrick (Nick DiNardo), mother Tricia Fitzpatrick of San Diego, father and stepmother Kevin & Kim Fitpatrick, sister Kim (Rich) Perrella, brother Jason (Danielle) Fitzpatrick, stepbrother Keith Walsh, nieces Giana, Lauren, & Zoey Fitzpatrick, nephew Jaydin Fitzpatrick, mother of his children, Elizabeth Fitzpatrick, dear friend Kelly Potter and Matthew Sasinowski and Nena McKeon.
A service to celebrate Philip, will be held on Saturday, October 2nd from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at NewComer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd, Watervliet NY, with a reception to follow nearby. All are invited to celebrate with us. Philip's ashes will be scattered on "Phil's Hill," at his grandmother's in Jacumba, CA.
