SCHENECTADY – Philip N. Bergeron, 58, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2011 at home. Born in Schenectady, he was the son of the late Edward and Rose (Bobik) Bergeron.
Philip worked as a carpenter. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and motorcycles.
Philip is survived by his wife, Cheryl (Barton) Bergeron; children Philip D. Bergeron, Megan M. Soto, and Heather C. Mastroianni; six grandchildren; brothers Edward and Roy Bergeron, and sisters Charmaine Wallingford and Beverly Bergeron. He was predeceased by his nephew "Young Ed" Bergeron.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 7:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Memorial calling hours will precede the service from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
